Best Attachments

With the entire Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War weapon arsenal available to use in Warzone, it can be very difficult to select the best loadout to use.

Whether you want to get up close and personal with the opposition, dominate at mid-range engagements or pick people off with a sniper rifle, there are loadouts to suit every single style of play imaginable.

Find our recommended loadouts below:

Best Drop Locations

Superstore

The Atlas Superstore is a location that is at the heart of any early-game action.

With plenty of loot on offer, there is a good chance of earning enough cash to earn a Loadout Drop quickly but with plenty of competition, it can be extremely difficult to escape the Superstore alive.

If you do choose to land at the Superstore, enter the store with your teammates in tow and if you want a quieter landing, drop onto the roof where there is still plenty of loot on offer.

Boneyard

The boneyard is full of Supply Crates that can drop plenty of cash, killstreaks and legendary weapon blueprints that come fully equipped with a set of attachments.

It is also the perfect place for a variety of engagement opportunities, making it one of the best places to get familiar with the weapon mechanics and which weapons suit you the best.

If you want to find a strong vantage point, land near the Scrapyard buildings to assess the situation before making the next play or land in the cluster of plane fuselages to deal damage at close-quarters.

Farmland

If landing in a hotly-contested area of Verdansk isn’t your cup of tea then the Farmland is the perfect place to find some strong loot before heading towards the action.

With plenty of buildings spaced out across a large field, work your way through the buildings collecting cash, utility, and killstreaks. If you find a UAV, call it in straight away to reveal any opposition that could be in the area.

Although there are plenty of buildings to loot, there is a minimal amount of cover, which can make it tricky to escape the area without coming under fire from players trying to score a quick kill.

Tips And Tricks

1) Straight Into Action

The early stages of the match are the best time to acquire any cash which can be used to purchase a variety of items from Buy Stations.

As soon as you have bought a loadout drop and are armed with your weapons of choice, head straight into the action and begin eliminating opponents that may have spent a bit more time looting.

Head to a busy area of the map such as the Airport or the Superstore and start clearing out anyone standing in your way of the victory chopper!

2) Use Different Weapons

With so many weapons on offer in Warzone, it’s important to familiarise yourself with all of the weapons that are available.

In the early stages of a match when you don’t have access to your loadout, being effective with the weapons available on the ground is an integral part of making it into the latter stages of the match.

We recommend using the Uzi and Oden as both pack a punch in a variety of situations.

3) Positioning Is Key

Picture this. You’ve outlasted the vast majority of the lobby and there are only a handful of players as the final circle begins to close but you find yourself at the bottom of a hill rather than the top and are eliminated with a top four finish. So close yet so far from your first win.

As the game progresses, it’s important to make sure you’re in the best possible position to have the advantage when engaging with an enemy that is in an inferior position.
