Xbox Game Pass might be the new hotness, but there's no denying the excitement of new Games With Gold games, too.

Each month, players can download two Xbox One and two Xbox 360 or Original Xbox games (backwards compatible) as part of their Xbox Live Gold membership.

This month, players can get their hands on Tom Clancy's The Division, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, de Blob 2 (Xbox 360) and Armed and Dangerous (Original Xbox).

If you've not got a subscription, you can buy one!

We won't find out what October's games are until late in September, but we've had a go at predicting them below!

When Will Xbox Games With Gold Games Be Available?

Two games cycle in on the first of every month, with another two dropping in the middle of the month.

Don't worry, though, they'll all be announced at the same time.

As we approach Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, we could see Origins added to the service, as well as something like Watch Dogs 2 to prepare us for Watch Dogs Legion.

Then there's the fact that Halloween is coming up - could we get something spooky, like Resident Evil 2: Remake? It's unlikely, sure, but don't be surprised to see some kind of survival horror game join the lineup.

Another suggestion from the community is Forza Motorsport 7. With the next game presumably some time away, it could be a good time to reacquaint players with the sim-racing franchise, especially given Forza Horizon 4 is available on Game Pass but none of the Motorsport games have appeared on the service yet.

This month's discounts are unknown, however, if you're looking for a great deal on Xbox Live you can purchase it here.
