Following CD Projekt Red’s sudden announcements of a massive assortment of upcoming titles, including a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and an Unreal Engine 5 remake of the first Witcher game, fans have had plenty of reason to jump back into both series.

For those doing just that on PC, mods can provide a number of interesting ways to spice up the experience, for example, by allowing you to roleplay as a cyber-stock trader more effectively or get a taste of playing as a mutation-free Geralt.

However, one new mod is perfect for those who want to be able to appreciate both games simultaneously, allowing Geralt the chance to don some Cyberpunk clothing found by modders in The Witcher 3’s game files.

Johnny Silverhand as Roach mod sold separately

The mod that adds these futuristic threads to the white wolf’s wardrobe is called ‘Official Cyberpunk Prototype Attire’ and is the work of prolific modder X20T3rMiN4t0R, who also goes by the name ‘Ard Carraigh’ and whose previous work has overhauled the game’s bombs and made Roach customisable.

This time, they’ve taken some Cyberpunk 2077 test apparel, which was found deep in the game files of the game of the year version The Witcher 3 being sold on GOG by modder glassfish777, and made it into a proper armour set that can be worn by Geralt.

Included in this set are a jacket that looks like a less detailed version of Johnny Silverhand’s signature Samurai jacket, a pair of stylish red trousers, and five different versions of the same pair of sneakers, all with distinct colour schemes.

In addition to making these garment fit Geralt a little better than they originally did, X20T3rMiN4t0R has also made the jacket dyeable via the vanilla game’s dye system, with eNoodles’ ‘Accessory Slot Mod’ being an optional download if applying the dye is proving troublesome.

On the other hand, if you’d rather stick with your tried and tested armour when fighting monsters, all of the clothing can be placed on the armour stands at Corvo Bianco without any issues.

Regardless of what you plan to do with them, the items can be found by exploring the forest during the mission ‘Echoes of the Past’ or by travelling to the peak of Toussaint’s Mount Gorgon.

Though if that sounds like too much work, you can also console command them into your inventory.

Regardless of how you acquire 2077’s finest fashions for Geralt, make sure to follow us to get updates on The Witcher Remake and for coverage of some cool Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 mods.
