The number of Warzone players demanding the return of Verdansk continues to grow. As the days tick towards the launch of Warzone 2, the community wants Raven Software to bring back the classic map for one last hurrah before the new era of the battle royale begins.
The arrival of Caldera continues to split the opinions of players but the majority want Verdansk back in the rotation. With Season 5 on the horizon, the return of the map would bring the current iteration of the game to a fitting end.
One player leading the charge for Verdansk’s return is Kris “FaZe Swagg” Lamberson, who promises to get a tattoo of the map name next to his other Warzone-themed tattoo of the Raven Software logo.
FaZe Swagg will get a tattoo if Verdansk returns
During an August 3 Twitch stream, the FaZe Clan member made the promise to his viewers in a bid to encourage the Warzone developer to add the iconic map one more time. “If they bring back Verdansk, I’ll get the name Verdansk tatted on my a**, right below the Raven Software,” claims the Warzone streamer.
To make things interesting, the streamer adds a timer for Raven Software to respond to his request. “They have to bring it back before Modern Warfare 2 otherwise it doesn’t f*****g [count].”
Swagg is no stranger to receiving Warzone-themed tattoos. After asking Raven Software to revert changes to Loadout Drops during Season 1 of the Pacific era, the streamer received a tattoo of the developer’s name and logo.
With Modern Warfare 2 launching on October 28, there’s not much time for the Warzone developer to respond. We’ll have to wait and see if the developer decides to add Verdansk as an LTM or as part of the map rotation alongside Caldera, Fortune’s Keep, and Rebirth Island.
