Winning a Warzone 2 match is no easy feat. Attempting to become the last player standing by outlasting over a hundred players requires a mixture of luck and plenty of skill. But, once the formula is mastered, scoring victories becomes much easier.
With Season Two well underway, several members are returning to action to see whatâs changed in Al Mazrah and to experience the brand-new Ashika Island Resurgence map. Judging by recent feedback, Warzone 2 is on the road to recovery after a rocky start.
One player on the verge of victory looked certain to climb aboard the victory helicopter but fell short in the most embarrassing circumstances.
Warzone 2 fan slips to second place
During a recent match, Reddit user frankdavie1 found themselves in the perfect position to earn a win thanks to some precise positioning on top of an archway. As the gas closed in, the player tries to stay level but slips to an unfortunate second-place finish.
âWell that didnât go to plan,â jokes frankdavie. One commenter jokes the simple solution of ant-slip socks wouldâve given them the win. âShouldâve worn these nonâslip socks Auntie Clara gave you for Christmas.â
On a more positive note, the player adds a touch of flair to narrowly missing out on a win. âSilver linings, you got that 2nd place with style,â replies another fan.
