Modders have put an awful lot of effort into making sure Skyrim has continually evolved and expanded in the years since it was first released into the world.

Many have focused on changing the game by overhauling iconic locations, finding fresh ways to improve combat, or simply adding interesting details that can make the province feel more alive to it, with a few even going as far as re-creating areas from previous Elder Scrolls games or attempting a little bit of satire.

If you’re a player whose characters regularly end up either joining the College of Winterhold to learn about the arcane arts or hiding out in caves to conduct profane necromantic rituals, a new mod might be worth adding to your load order.

Is your Skyrim mage in need of a fresh adventure to give them a break from their occult research?

The mod in question is called ‘Quest - Baba Yaga and the Labyrinth’, and is the work of modders wSkeever and Kreiste, who’ve previously collaborated to create a quest centred around celebrating the in-universe holiday of Saturalia by visiting a magical snow globe.

This time, they’ve decided to use their wizardly talents to create another enchanting and fully-voiced adventure designed to test the limits of your spellcasting skills, which is kicked off by visiting Riften’s Bee and Barb, following some rumours of a walking hut you’ll hear from the innkeeper.

As you can see in the preview clip above, the venture that follows your visit to this ambulatory abode is dripping with magical mystery, with the main draw being a daring rescue mission in the Soul Cairn.

Your reward for undertaking this task will be a staff and a set of unique bewitching robes, the latter of which wSkeever and Kreiste have released as a standalone mod called ‘Wild Witch Outfit - CBBE UUNP BHUNP HIMBO Vanilla - HDT-SMP’, which you’ll need to grab prior to downloading the quest mod.

You also might want to make sure your character doesn’t have a small army of followers trailing in their wake when they set off for The Rift, as wSkeever and Kreiste suggest that bringing them into the mod’s cosy interiors might result in some issues or unintentional property damage.

Regardless of whether you’re now desperately trying to reach an alchemy lab through a sea of arms and legs, make sure to follow us for more updates on The Elder Scrolls 6 and the interesting world of Skyrim modding.
