Shin Megami Tensei 5 Launching on Nintendo Switch In 2021

Shin Megami Tensei V, the latest in a series best known for the spin-off Persona franchise, got its first trailer as part of the event.

Promising a world that has crumbled after what looks like a demonic invasion, it looks like heavy stuff. Check it out below.

Originally announced all the way back in 2017 (the same year the Switch launched), fans of the franchise will undoubtedly be excited to play a mainline entry for the first time in four years, and they won't have to dig their 3DS out to do it.

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne (trying saying that ten times fast), is also coming to the Switch courtesy of a high-definition remake of the seventeen-year-old title. That gives fans a perfect opportunity to jump into one of the series' most beloved entries.

While no release window has been given for Shin Megami Tensei V outside of a release year, the remake of Nocturne will launch in Spring of 2021.

The short and sweet direct also offered an extra look at Rogue Company, as well as Cadence of Hyrule DLC and WWE 2K Battlegrounds.
