Mystery Ubisoft Game Appears On Microsoft Store Before Being Delisted


A new Ubisoft product, marked as 'INCURSION VMC', landed on the Microsoft Store yesterday, before being updated to just 'VMC Only', and then delisted entirely.

The mystery game, spotted by Twitter account @ALumia_Italia, was listed for Xbox Series X and S, with Smart Delivery. The listing also suggested it supports 2 to 102 players.

While some have theorised the release could be linked to The Division 2 (that game's endgame content is dubbed 'Incursions') there has been no further clues.

It appears, given the 'internal use only' note, that the listing was a test, but for what, we couldn't say.

Only yesterday, Rockstar's long-dormant Midnight Club: Los Angeles was listed on the platform, too.

While the player count for 'VMC Only' may suggest something in the multiplayer mould, that information could be placeholder – as could the genre of 'Shooter'.
