Modern Warfare 3 fans desperate for devs to balance weapons before launch

Modern Warfare 3 players are desperate for Sledgehammer Games to apply a dose of weapon balancing to the arsenal following the two beta weekends.

The beta provided players with the first opportunity to play Modern Warfare 3 ahead of its launch. Just like the previous Call of Duty betas, a small slice of the gun list was available to use alongside a selection of maps and game modes for players to test.

After two weekends of fast-paced action, fans were quick to start sharing their thoughts on the latest multiplayer offering. While there were plenty praising the movement changes, others believe the weapon arsenal is already in need of some buffs and nerfs in order to balance the game.

In a bid to raise awareness of the issue, Reddit user FinanceEfficient7269 pleaded with the developers to apply some kind of change in order to create some variety among the best guns and weapons.

The player says: The 150 HP feels nice, but some weapons are literally unplayable." Based on the comments, they're not the only ones who are worried about potential imbalances. Another fan thinks: "Unfortunately with the massive amount of weapons coming at launch, don't expect them to nail down the TTK or have balanced weapons of any sort."

Sledgehammer Games is yet to share what it has in store for the launch of Modern Warfare 3, but there's a strong possibility of the developer going into more detail on what it has adjusted in the time between the beta and the multiplayer servers switching on once again.

Modern Warfare 3 weapons are holding it back from being a great game and with many wanting some form of change to the current in-game performance of most guns, we'll have to wait and see if Sledgehammer Games listens to the community in order to cater to all players and their never-ending list of demands.
