Scoring kills is a key ingredient when it comes to levelling up in Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. Infinity Ward’s sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare has started its first season of content that comes with a new battle pass and new additions to the weapon arsenal.
The current state of multiplayer is splitting the opinions of players. Some are enjoying the game while others continue to experience bugs halting camo progression and ask for the removal of unpopular maps.
Among the bugs, one player has managed to reach the highest level without scoring a single elimination.
Minimum effort, maximum reward
In a bid to make the grind to level 55 a little harder, YouTuber ThatFriendlyGuy decided to start his multiplayer journey by reaching the top rank without scoring a single elimination. Armed with nothing but a riot shield, decoy grenades, and a pistol for extra mobility, the content creator managed to hit the target in under 24 hours.
“Unlocking decoy grenades were a game-changer,” says the content creator. Alongside the equipment, playing game modes such as Hardpoint and Kill Confirmed resulted in huge amounts of XP earned without having to shoot any opponents. Another highlight includes an impressive one-versus-five clutch in a Prisoner Rescue match where ThatFriendlyGuy manages to rescue the hostage while evading all nearby threats with ease.
