While some are already focused on what might happen once GTA 6 gets a concrete release date, many GTA Online players are just trying to make the most of their remaining time in Los Santos.

Though some of the game’s recent weekly updates haven’t been received very positively by its hardcore players, many had hoped that the San Andreas Mercenaries update would help reinvigorate their passion for it.

However, it seems that any goodwill generated by new content like the highly-anticipated F-160 Raiju Plane is quickly evaporating due to the sudden removal of a massive selection of cars from in-game websites.

How are you finding GTA Online’s San Andreas Mercenaries update so far?

While Rockstar’s pre-update newswire posts had informed players that, as part of it, “lesser-used vehicles will be removed from in-game websites to streamline the browsing experience,” the list of cars, bikes, boats, and planes this affects is a lot more extensive than people had anticipated.

It’s so long, in fact, that Reddit user PapaXan has seemingly hit the character limit for a post on the site in their efforts to put together a record of everything that’s gone for fellow users of the GTA Online subreddit.

As you might imagine, the reactions of their fellow criminals to the list, which currently covers everything from supercars like the Infernus, to off-roaders like the Kalahari and even both variants of the Faggio moped, are pretty scathing.

“This is disgusting, absolutely disgusting," declares user roboseypien_552, while rbsudden muses: “If there's one thing I have never heard anyone say since 2013 is there are too many cars available to buy. I've never once heard that, not once.”

While Rockstar emphasised in the announcement of its plan to remove the vehicles that any affected “will occasionally be made available via showrooms, The Lucky Wheel, and other places” going forwards, many players have been left questioning why a simpler solution to streamlining stores, such as the introduction of new tabs or search functions, couldn’t be used instead.
