Valve is one of the most recognizable and well-known brands within the gaming industry.
Not only are they the studio behind Steam, but they have also produced exceptional titles such as CS:GO, Dota 2, and most recently Half-Life Alyx.
Now, the CEO behind Valve, Gabe Newell has noted that multiple Valve games are coming soon.
Here's what you need to know!
In an interview with 1 News, Gabe Newell talked about a lot of topics within the gaming industry.
However, what we are concern with is his comments on upcoming Valve projects.
As well, Newell also spoke on the upcoming 'Citadel' project that players have been wondering what exactly this game is going to be about.
In regards to 'Citadel' Newell noted:
I've successfully not spoken about those things for a long time and I hope to continue to not talk about them until they are moot questions. Then we'll move on to a new set of questions
The nice thing is, by not answering those questions, I avoid the community coming up with new, equally-difficult-to-answer questions
The success of Half-Life Alyx seemed to go over well with Valve, as Newell spoke on upcoming projects and how Alyx influenced these decisions:
We definitely have games in development that we're going to be announcing — it's fun to ship games
Alyx was great — to be back doing single-player games, that created a lot of momentum inside of the company to do more of that
For now, we will have to patiently wait and see what Valve has up their sleeves.
We are sure it is going to be amazing for sure!
