As you might expect from a player base that’s produced mods which give you the chance to ride around on a Deathclaw named Shreddy or send the Sole Survivor on a Legend of Zelda-themed adventure, the Fallout community is home to some really nice folks.

For example, just last month, a group of incredibly talented vault dwellers came together to put on a Fallout 4 modding jam that raised around $10k for charity and created Trunk’s Malfunction, a work which has since been downloaded by over 3k unique users on Nexus Mods.

Now, the Fallout For Hope initiative, which played a role in organising that jam, is helping Fallout fans to raise some more money for good causes while celebrating Pride month, via a Pride parade that’s set to take place in Fallout 76 this weekend.

Feel like celebrating Pride in Fallout 76 this weekend?

The parade is the second of its kind that the group has put together and is taking place as part of a month-long Pride-focused fundraising effort. So far, it has raised just over $2k for the American Heart Association via its main page.

It looks to act as a culmination of sorts for this drive and will see those who’ve already reserved their spots walk a route that runs between a junction near The Whitespring Resort and the town of Flatwoods, as you can see below.

They’ll seemingly be accompanied in this stroll, which is set to kick off at around 6 PM EST/ 11 PM BST on June 25, by some incredibly well-decorated floats, which you’ll be able to see in the Twitch stream of the event by Stellarsprout, Fallout For Hope’s Outreach Director.

If you’re interested in joining in with the parade, you can message Fallout For Hope or Stellarsprout on Twitter for details on how to do just that,.

If you find that they’ve run out of room for entries, or simply prefer the single player Fallout experience, you can also celebrate Pride in Fallout 4, by grabbing Elianora’s 2023 Pride mod, which includes a bunch of trans-inclusive apparel and goodies for the Sole Survivor.
