From turning Concord into a revitalised pre-war style town to giving you the chance to ride around on a Deathclaw, Fallout 4 mods can add a lot to the experience on offer in The Commonwealth.

While some focus on giving you the tools to add your own personal twists to the activities and visuals of your post-apocalyptic playthroughs, others provide the means for creatively talented vault dwellers to construct fresh adventures for their fellow Fallout fans to enjoy.

If you’re planning on getting into a few wasteland shenanigans during this year’s Pride celebrations, a new mod is definitely worth adding to your load order.

Planning on celebrating Pride month by heading on some post-apocalyptic adventures in Fallout 4?

The mod in question is called ‘Pride Mod 2023 - Trans Solidarity edition’ and is the latest work prolific modder Elianora has created, with some help from CaptainUltima and NaiRae. Some of their previous projects have involved giving Skyrim’s Dragonborn a home in a hat and, more recently, producing the player home portion of a charity mod produced during a day-long modding jam.

This time, they’ve decided to create and release a bunch of Pride-themed items and outfits in celebration of this year’s iteration of the month, which are specifically designed to “raise awareness of the unprecedented erasure and vitriol trans members of the LGBTQIA+ community have been facing.”

Within the pack of goodies included in the mod, you’ll find some t-shirts that provide a cool alternative to the apparel included in Elianora’s Pride mods from 2018 and 2020, as well as some trans-inclusive settlement decorations and paint sets of your pip-boy and power armour.

While the opportunity to have your T-51 suit say trans rights certainly isn’t something you’ll want to miss out on, perhaps the most interesting inclusions from the mod are a Pride-themed statue of Liberty Prime and several in-game versions of Blåhaj, the shark soft toy you might find at your local branch of IKEA.

In order to get your hands on all of these you’ll need to head to a chemistry station or a power armour workbench, with the latter being where the paint sets live.

Alternatively, you can check out Incaendo’s ‘Skyrim Pride - Rainbow Flags Replaces Banners’ and Halkuonn’s ‘VV0LFDEN - Pride Converse - Fem Masc’ to add some Pride-themed vibes to your other favourite RPGs.
