ESRB Rates Disney Classic Games Collection, Features The Jungle Book

A recently uncovered ESRB rating has revealed a new Disney games collection is coming. Having previously released Disney Classic Games: Aladdin And The Lion King, that set is now being updated with a third entry, The Jungle Book.

Released back in 1994, The Jungle Book's game adaptation was developed by Eurocom, making its way to the Sega Mega Drive, NES, SNES, Game Boy, and Game Gear. At this time, its unclear which of these will be emulated, though if Aladdin And The Lion King's previous release are anything to go by, this package could feature all five editions.

ESRB Rates Disney Classic Games Collection, Features The Jungle Book

Listed for PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, the ESRB offered this rating summary:

This is a collection of classic platformers based on the Disney movies Aladdin, The Lion King, and The Jungle Book. Players run and jump through levels, using swords, fruit, or swipe-and-pounce attacks to strike enemies (e.g., guards, birds, snakes, monkeys). Combat is highlighted by sword-slashing sounds and cries of pain; enemies disappear amid puffs of smoke when defeated. Some enemies and bosses shoot projectiles (e.g., arrows) at players' character.

As it remains formally unannounced, we don't have any release date details but traditionally, a ratings board appearance means a release date isn't far off. We'll keep you informed when we learn more.
