Popular Call of Duty TikTok creator Inquisitor Ghost has reportedly died after an attempted suicide on a recent livestream.

Known for cosplaying as the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 character Ghost, the TikTok creator was an iconic part of the video platform.

With almost 300,000 followers on TikTok, the user’s Call of Duty cosplay merged the iconic Ghost character with the theme of a Star Wars Inquisitor. Numerous videos saw the cosplayer wielding a red lightsaber while wearing Ghost’s mask, dancing to music or responding to fans.

Known under the channel name Inquisitor3, Inquisitor_Ghost reportedly died following a suicide attempt on TikTok Live. Users who saw the livestream describe seeing an empty room which was disturbed as an Italian woman smashed through a nearby window to perform CPR just out of screen.

Via Dexerto, the Italian woman screamed for help, shouting for an unseen third party to “call someone”. The woman then confirms that the TikTok creator was “hanged” before asking: “where the f**k are they?”, referring to an ambulance.

While CPR was attempted on the livestream, it’s not known if Inquisitor Ghost was successfully resuscitated. There are currently no reports from local Italian media regarding the creator.

The TikTok creator’s reported suicide comes after a month of controversy surrounding Inquisitor Ghost. During September, the creator was accused of grooming a minor, a crime that has since been revealed as not being true.

Nevertheless, the creator saw huge backlash for their alleged actions. Inquisitor Ghost’s TikTok channel went dark on September 27. The first video since that was the live stream of the creator’s death.

Following the creator’s suicide, numerous TikTok creators have paid tribute to their work, posting images of their experiences meeting him at conventions and online.

Other fans have asked that developer Sledgehammer Games create a skin for the character in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The creator expressed numerous times that his dream was to have a skin in the iconic FPS series.

Inquisitor Ghost’s TikTok channel has sadly been banned following the user’s suicide livestream. Few videos of the creator have been archived online.
