One of the very first post-launch weapons to arrive in Black Ops Cold War was the MAC-10 and it quickly became one of the most powerful weapons to use in multiplayer thanks to its incredible rate of fire. The SMG was designed in 1964 and is still used by military forces today.
A lightweight SMG that in previous games hasn't always been a standout favourite, but in Black Ops Cold War, the MAC-10 is easily one of the very best weapons to use in the entire game. Even after several weapon balances, the MAC-10 is still a solid choice and with Season 6 in full swing, it has maintained its place as one of the strongest SMGs to use.

MAC-10 SMG Cold War
Armed with an incredibly fast rate of fire and minimal levels of recoil, very few weapons have the capabilities to contend with the MAC-10 in close-quarters combat.
Although the fast fire rate is the main selling point of the MAC-10, you will find yourself reloading on a regular basis, meaning less time to score kills.
With the right set of attachments equipped, the need for reloading can be reduced alongside an extension in damage range to improve versatility.

Arguably the best pistol in the game, the 1911 can be the perfect crutch to fall back on if you find yourself running short of ammo with the MAC-10.

Now armed with a slight increase in damage, the frag grenade is even more versatile. Bounce it off a wall and into a crowded objective to clear out the area easily or launch it across the map in the hope of scoring a surprising elimination.
Tactical

Perfect to pop when in the thick of the action, the smoke grenade can be the perfect tool to keep you alive and to set up a play.
If you’re in a sticky situation, throw it in front of you to give you a chance of escape and some time to regroup before getting back into the action.
Field Upgrade

A well-placed proximity mine can guarantee another elimination next to your name on the scoreboard.
Throw one down in a busy area of the map and wait for the notification to appear.

The Best Ways To Play
The fast rate of fire that comes with the MAC-10 lends itself to fast and furious gameplay.
With very few opportunities to play passively with the MAC-10, the only way to play is by getting up close and personal with the opposition. Thanks to its unmatched rate of fire and lethal damage output, it's extremely easy to kill multiple enemies in quick succession and very easy to move out of the way when the action gets too close for comfort.
