Looking for info on how to use your Gacha Club code? This fashion and fighting gacha game doesn't have freebies like you'd get from redeeming Gacha Life codes in Lumine's other title, but it does have codes that you can use to import specific character designs, or export to share them with others. You can find these outfit codes all over Pinterest and a variety of others sites.
So, how do you use a Gacha Club code? Though the game didn't release too long ago, its import and export functionality has always been a bit dodgy, and you can find countless videos on YouTube explaining various fixes, which sometimes work and sometimes don't. In this guide, we'll explain how to unlock and use this feature.
If you're looking for something new to play, be sure to have a look at our list of the best gacha games. We also have other mobile freebies in the form of our lists of Honkai Impact codes and Genshin Impact codes, as well as a whole range of free stuff in our dedicated Roblox section.
How Do I Use a Gacha Club Code?
First things first, you'll have to get to DJ level five before you're able to unlock the import and export functionality. You can gain levels pretty quickly by fighting battles and setting the game to autoplay, letting you grind up the XP. Once you're levelled, follow these simple instructions:
- Head to 'Home'
- Tap 'Profile' in the bottom right
- Tap 'Import' in the bottom right
- Paste your code into the box at the top, then tap 'Import'
- Be warned, the new character will replace the one you currently have selected
The online import functionality seems very inconsistent, so if you get a message saying "could not import character. The code may be wrong, or the database is down," then we suggest trying an offline import. Instead of the usual seven-digit code, this will require a code like the one you can see at the bottom of the screenshot below.
These offline import codes are tough to find, but the Gacha Club reddit is a pretty good bet. Simply tap 'offline import' at the bottom of the import page, then copy in your code to get the character. The good thing about offline imports is that they seem to work every time, so it might generally be a better method than the online one, provided you can get the codes, that is.

If you want an offline code to try out for yourself, here's an export code for an outfit we made earlier. Just copy this and use it in-game:
How Do I Export a Gacha Club Code?
It's even easier to get a Gacha Club code to export a character. Simply follow these instructions:
- Go to 'Home'
- Select 'Profile' in the bottom right
- Tap 'Export' the bottom right
- Either tap the 'Export' button to get an online code, or copy the one below for an offline export
- Share it with your friends
How Do I Fix the Gacha Club Import and Export?
There are lots of videos around prescribing different fixes for the online Gacha Club code import and export problem. One that apparently works for some people is heading to the options menu and then tapping 'return to title screen,' though that didn't work for us. Honestly, it seems like a server problem, so we'd suggest using the offline character import and export instead, as it always works as intended.
