Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 1 has launched, and fans will find much of the new Island covered in snow and various other Holiday decorations. Winterfest is upon us, and the Frosty Frenzy should last throughout December with tons of great holiday-themed skins, weapons, events, and challenges.
Fortnite Winterfest 2021 Dates
Fortnite Winterfest 2011 started on December 16, 2021, and will run until January 6, 2022.
Winterfest 2021 Skins
New holiday-themed skins are arriving with regular frequency in the Item Shop, and two wintery cash bundles are also available for purchase. A new holiday anime skin was added to Fortnite 19.01, as well as two winter styles for Peely and Isabelle. A new Blizzabelle skin is now in the PC Epic Store as exclusive item available for free until the end of Winterfest.
A new Black Ice Legends bundle will also be available for V-Bucks, having been added in the 19.01 update.

Fortnite Winterfest 2021 Details
Winterfest 2021 is here with 14 days of free presents for players, new quests, and a new Holiday Lodge! Each day players can log in, visit the cabin, and unwrap a present from a Fortnite character. There are even quests and easter eggs in the lodge to earn players extra Winterfest XP for a special surprise later in the event.
Upon first logging into Fortnite, players will be awarded a new Banner style and a snowboard Glider. There are also several new Creative experiences for players to enjoy.

Winterfest Challenges
Winterfest 2021 will feature many different challenges that unlock as the event progresses. Here is a list of leaked challenges:
- Complete 7 Winterfest Quests (Snowmando Board)
- Complete 10 Winterfest Quests
- Warm yourself at the Yule log in the Cozy Lodge
- Deal damage to opponents with the Snowball Launcher
- Collect Toy Biplanes at Condo Canyon, Greasy Grove, or Sleepy Sound
- Travel while having icy feet
- Fly with a chicken
- Dance for three seconds at Crackshot’s Cabin and Sgt. Winter’s Workshop
- Ram a snowman with a vehicle
- Use a Holiday Presents! item
- Search a treasure chest under a holiday tree
- Eat five food in a single match
- Hide for ten seconds as a Sneaky Snowman within 25 meters of an opponent
- Light campfire while having icy feet
- Travel 1000 meters on a Crackshot Quadcrasher
- Destroy holiday decorations
- Give an opponent icy feet with a Chiller Grenade
There are also apparently special rewards for playing at least two hours of Fortnite Winterfest 2021 Creative maps (seen above!)
