Skins have always been one of the most attractive aspects of Fortnite. However, owing to the vast number of skins released by Epic Games, there are certain rare skins that haven't been available for purchase in more than two years.

The fact that these skins haven't been available in the Item Shop does not mean that these skins are bad or unwanted. It is merely a situation where Epic Games hasn't been able to bring back these skins to the Item Shop with new skins being released every week.

Additionally, with the release of Fortnitemares 2021, a bunch of new cosmetics are being added to the game for players to choose from. Nevertheless, some skins will always remain a classic, despite being absent from the Item Shop for ages.

#5. Hacivat

Hacivat is an Epic-tier skin in Fortnite that was initially released in Chapter 1 Season 5. Released on 14th September 2018, this skin was last available in the Item Shop on 15th December 2018. This means that the epic-tier skin has been unavailable for players to purchase for almost three years now. The skin can be purchased for a cost of 1,500 V-Bucks when it returns to the Fortnite Item Shop.

#4. Vector

Vector was initially released during Chapter 1 Season 9 on 11th July 2019. However, since appearing in the Item Shop on 4th September 2019, the skin has almost been forgotten by the developers. Nevertheless, considering the skin's appearance and the huge buzz it had created back in 2019, it is safe to say that the developers could be looking to stage a return for this rare-tier skin in Fortnite.

The Vector skin can be purchased for a price of 1,200 V-Bucks when it is listed in the Item Shop.

#3. Deadfall

Available for a single day in the entire history of its existence, Deadfall is definitely one of the rarest skins in Fortnite. This uncommon-tier skin from the Siege Strike bundle was released on 2nd October 2019 and was cycled out of the Shop on the very next day. With more than two entire years having passed since the skin's last appearance in the Item Shop, Epic Games could very well choose to bring back this iconic set from the Vault.

When available in the Item Shop, players can purchase the Deadfall outfit for 800 V-Bucks.

#2. Chief Hopper

Yet another skin that was released during Chapter 1 Season 9, the Chief Hopper epic-tier skin was the result of a collaboration between Fortnite and Stranger Things. However, since making an appearance on 6th November 2019, this epic-tier outfit has been missing from Fortnite. However, with Stranger Things Season 4 scheduled to release next year, the Chief Hopper skin could be making a return to the Item Shop very soon.

The Chief Hopper skin is priced at 1,500 V-Bucks for players to purchase when it returns to the Item Shop.

#1. Black Widow

One of the first Marvel Series skins to make an appearance in Fortnite, the Black Widow outfit was released back in Chapter 1 Season 8. Introduced on 25th April 2019, the outfit was last available for purchase on 6th May 2019. With two and a half years having passed since the skin's last appearance, it is extremely likely that Epic Games could decide to bring back the Black Widow in Fortnite Season 8.

Players can purchase the iconic Black Widow skin for 1,500 V-Bucks if it does make a return to the Item Shop.
