The Windwalker Echo Fortnite skin is the latest skin to join the ranks in Fortnite Season 7. Although the skin hasn't come out yet, it's already been added to the files after the Fortnite 17.50 update.
Rumors say that the skin will be available either today or tomorrow. But the question is, how do you get your hands on this skin?
How to get the Windwalker Echo Fortnite skin?
There's a very bleak chance of getting this skin for free. Given that Fortnite Season 7 is in it's final few days, there's almost no chance of another skin related tournament taking place.
Not only that, there is a major event on the cards that begins in approximately 5 days. The only way this skin could be made available for free is by linking it with some collaboration.
But that spot has been taken up by the Elite Trespasser Fortnite skin. That skin is a part of the collaboration with StreamElements.
There are a few checks you need to complete in order to get the skin, but you can still get it for free. Keeping in mind all these facts, it's unlikely that the Windwalker Echo Fortnite skin will be available for free.
However, since the skin is rumored to go live either today or tomorrow, there's a chance that it will appear directly in the Fortnite item shop.
Given the look the skin sports, it could easily be priced at around 1,800 - 2,000 V-Bucks. And it's unlikely that the price will cross more than that limit.
Hopefully this will be the last skin to join Fortnite. But since it's a product of Epic Games, you can never be too sure!
