Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #1 just hit comic store shelves, offering readers a unique look into the world of Fortnite through the eyes of the Dark Knight.
Each comic in the six-issue miniseries also includes a redeemable code for an in-game cosmetic, with the Rebirth Harley Quinn skin kicking things off.
In an animated trailer for the series released by DC Comics, Fortnite fans got their first look at the Armored Batman Zero Skin, an exclusive item that will most likely not end up in the Item Shop.
How to Get the Armored Batman Zero Skin in Fortnite
While Batman fans have seen the Caped Crusader in various different suits of armor before, nothing compares to the battered, survival-esque look of his Zero Armor in Fornite.
Similar to Jonesy's Season 6: Primal armor, Batman's Zero armor is rugged, battered, and well suited to the chaotic environment on Apollo Island.
While each cosmetic item from the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point will eventually be available in Fortnite's Item Shop, the likely hood of the Armored Batman Zero skin showing up there is unlikely.
That is because Fortnite and Batman fans will have to collect all six issues of the comic in order to get the skin.
Further details are unavailable at this time as to when players will actually be sent the skin for redeeming all six comic codes, just that Armored Batman Zero is the ultimate reward.
Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point
The Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point miniseries will be a 6 issue run containing a story that is canon to the Fortnite universe.
Running concurrently with Fornite Season 6: Primal, events in the comic and in-game will bleed into each other, offering an immersive experience for readers and players.
The comic series will also answer some of Fortnite's greatest mysteries involving the Zero Point and The Loop, having been planned since the game's conception.
