Harry Kane And Marco Reus All Set To Join The Fortnite Icon Series

Epic Games is keeping up with the trend of adding sportspersons to Fortnite. They recently announced that footballers Harry Kane and Marco Reus would be getting their own Fortnite skins.

These two footballers are the first sportspersons from Europe to receive their own Fortnite skins. It's nice to see the trend that started off with Neymar is still continuing in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7.

When do the Harry Kane and Marco Reus Fortnite skins go live?

According to the blog post, both these skins will go live on June 11th at 8PM EST. These skins will be a part of the Fortnite Icon Series, one of the most prestigious skin series in the franchise.

The Harry Kane Fortnite skin will come with the Sweet Victory emote and back bling. While the Marco Reus Fortnite skin will come with the Wise Monkeys emote and back bling.

You can purchase both these skins individually or purchase them together as a part of the bundle. The price of the bundle hasn't been released till now. However, given the usual price trends of these bundles, I think they will be priced at around 3,000 V-Bucks. These outfits could cost around 1,500 - 2,000 V-Bucks individually.

That being said, the timing of this bundle is very nice and appropriate. Euro Cup 2020 is almost here. And there isn't a better way of supporting the sport than bringing in the skins of two really talented footballers.

Now that Epic Games has decided to re-introduce football skins in Fortnite, can we have some football-related NPCs too? The video below is from last season. This season has no football related NPCs.

I loved taking penalty kicks with my squad when the football-related NPCs were in the game last season. That's probably the only thing I'll miss about Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6. Oh, and by the way, a huge shout out to Epic Games for finally calling the sport football.
