Fortnite Season 7 Patch Notes: Update 17.00 Patch Notes, Release Date, Time And Everything That's New

The Season 7 update has now arrived - so get ready for a host of changes in Patch 17.00.

Season 7 will be a stark contrast from Season 6 - where the previous season saw us go back in time to a Primal era, we're now interacting with UFOs in a more futuristic scenario.

Here are the early patch notes for update 17.00

The new update will arrive on the 8th June 2021 at 6AM UTC.

• Battle Pass Stars return
• Shakedowns can be cancelled
• Llamas are now alive and will run around the map
• Aliens are hidden in large bushes and will attack you
• Complete quests via payphones
• Upgrade Benches return
• Vending Machines return
• The Mothership above the map will abduct you, take you there to loot henchmen chests for 15 seconds and it'll throw you back to the map!
• Base challenge XP increased from 24,000 to 80,000.
• XP overall has been buffed by about 20-100 awarded depending on the action.

The PC version of Fortnite is getting some upgraded visuals in this patch.

This includes:

CHANGES TO EPIC AND HIGH SETTINGS

If you play with your “Quality Presets” option set to Epic, you’ll notice that both Battle Royale and Creative modes benefit from improved Storm and cloud effects, as well as enhanced simulations for smoke and liquid.
