When Does The Fortnite v17:00 Update Go Live?

The Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 v17.00 update has finally gone live. The trailers were nothing short of spectacular and give us a fair idea of what we can expect in the upcoming season.

Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty, and Clark Kent were seen in the battle pass trailer, indicating that these two characters will be in the battle pass itself.

But when how big is this patch, and when can we dowload the Fortnite v17.00 update?

The update is already live right now, and downloads may have begun for most of you, if not all of you.

That being said, Epic Games had previously mentioned that the Fortnite v17.00 update would be slightly larger than the other updates since it brings in a brand new season.

The size of the patch on different consoles are as follows:

• PS4 - 4.7GB
• PS5 - 4GB
• XBOX ONE - 6.3GB
• XBOX SERIES X - 5.8GB
• PC - 10.2GB
• ANDROID - 2GB
• SWITCH - 4.02GB

As mentioned before, if you're on PC, you'll probably see the update downloading already. The same goes for players on the PS4. However, if you're on an Xbox or a Switch, you'll be able to download the update in some more time.

From the looks of it, there's going to be a full blown war in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7. The current update brings to light the fact that these aliens are actually shape shifters. Other than that, the I.O. is also on the island.

Funnily enough, Batman and his friends haven't been seen in these trailers yet. Since so many people from the I.O. have made it to the island, what happens to the loop?
