How to find the Mythic Pulse Rifle
The Mythic Pulse Rifle can be obtained by defeating the Doctor Slone NPC in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7. Doctor Slone is the supposed boss of Agent Jones, thus confirming her position in the Imagined Order's hierarchy.
Having said that, this is the first time that Fortnite players have been introduced to this rather important character from Fortnite lore.
Players can find Doctor Slone in the same region where the Spire used to be. As was revealed in the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 opening trailer, the Spire was blown up into bits, leaving behind an empty space.
In order to claim the Mythic Pulse Rifle in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7, players will need to defeat Doctor Slone on the map. However, before heading over to the respective POI and dueling against the NPC, players should note that Doctor Slone features very high HP while also dealing massive damage to players.
Therefore, players are advised to take shelter or fire shots from the high ground while also dodging the NPC's shots. It is also recommended that players carry health potions as well as shield potions to regenerate their defenses during the duel against Doctor Slone.
Additionally, players are also advised to be aware of other players who might also land at the same location with hopes of collecting the Mythic weapon.
How to complete the Epic Quest with the Pulse Rifle
The first set of Epic Quests available in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 has presented players with the option of earning 30,000 XP for the seasonal Battle Pass by simply dealing damage with the Pulse Rifle.
Once players manage to collect the Pulse Rifle by defeating Doctor Slone, they will need to deal a total of 500 damage to either enemies or wild animals. Considering the requirements of this epic quest, players shouldn't face a lot of trouble once they have managed to claim the Mythic Pulse Rifle.
Completing this quest will reward players with 30,000 XP for the Season 7 Battle Pass progression.

Considering the fact that Doctor Slone's Pulse Rifle is a mythic-rated weapon, the weapon is definitely one of the most lethal in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7.
The numbers for the Pulse Rifle in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 are:

- Fire Rate: 4.2 shots per second
- Reload Time: 2.6775 seconds
Players should also note that the Pulse Rifle features automatic firing when used for hip-firing while the fire rate is decreased when aiming down sights.
