Fortnite: How Many Gold Bars Can You Hold?

Season 7 continues to utilise Gold Bars so that players can purchase items they need from NPCs, when duking it out with opponents.

Like all free-to-play titles, Fortnite has multiple forms of in-game currency; V-Bucks, which you use to get cosmetics, and Gold Bars, which can be used to upgrade weapons or hire NPCs to assist you.

Fortnite: How Many Gold Bars Can You Hold?

Gold Bars are actually easier to get than V-Bucks, which is likely due to how limited they are when it comes to purchases since you can get them from killing other players or finding them around the map.

In case fans start getting too greedy and start grinding too much for them, there is a limit to the number of Gold Bars you can accumulate in Fortnite.

You can have up to 10,000 Gold Bars in Fortnite and players will have to start spending them after reaching that much, just so they don’t kill themselves by constantly grinding.

While one could argue that they should increase the Gold Bars cap, it’s not like this is the game’s main source of currency.

The best part about Gold Bars in Fortnite is that you don’t ever have to spend real-world money on them and even if you wanted to, there’s no option to get them that way.

It’s only V-Bucks that you can spend real money on since that’s your main source of income if you want to get some of those fancy character skins.

Fortnite is now available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices.
