How To Find Makeshift Weapons In Fortnite Season 6 And Deal Damage FAST

Since Fortnite went Primal, there are two types of weapons players can wield - Primal or Modern.

Primal weapons feature a Primal look and are designed with an aesthetic from a more basic time in history.

Modern weapons feature a more current look and are designed to look more like the weapons we know from our current time in history.

Makeshift weapons can be crafted into both Primal weapons and regular weapons.

They are the subject of the Week 6 Legendary Quest - Deal damage with Makeshift Weapons.

For completing all stages of this challenge, players can earn over 98,000 XP!

But where can you find Makeshift weapons in Fortnite?

Where To Find Makeshift Weapons In Fortnite

Makeshift Weapons are really easy to find and can be found all over the island as floor loot or in chests.

Makeshift weapons tend to come in three rarities - Common Uncommon and Rare (with the exception of the Makeshift Bow).

Here's a list of Makeshift weapons:

  • Makeshift Shotgun
  • Makeshift Rifle
  • Makeshift Submachine Gun
  • Makeshift Bow
  • Makeshift Revolver

Deal Damage With Makeshift Weapons

Here's what this week's Legendary Quest looks like:

  • Deal damage with Makeshift Weapons (0/2500) - 35,000 XP
  • Deal damage with Makeshift Weapons (0/5000) - 24,500 XP
  • Deal damage with Makeshift Weapons (0/7500) - 24,500 XP
  • Deal damage with Makeshift Weapons (0/10000) - 24,500 XP
  • Deal damage with Makeshift Weapons (0/12500) - 24,500 XP

With players needing to deal 12,500 damage, it's not going to be an easy task.

Fortunately, it is made easier with party-assist. All progress for Legendary quests is contributed by those in your party!

Our advice to get this done fast is to head into a Team Rumble match and look to find Makeshift Weapons from areas with high loot and chests.

Load up on some of the better Makeshift Weapons such as the Shotgun and Rifle, head to the final circle and unleash hell!
