Fortnite is set to turn 3 this year and so Epic plan to celebrate with a ton of awesome events, cosmetics and challenges.
While the developer is keeping its cards close to its chest, here’s what we know so far as we countdown to Fortnite’s 3rd Birthday!
Release Date
With Fortnite Battle Royale originally launching on September 26, we’re presumably getting very close to the big day - can you believe it’s been three years?
Rewards And Challenges
Here are the rewards and challenges for Fortnite's birthday celebration!
It’s hard to say what Epic has in store for us, but let’s take a look at what they did last year for clues.
They wrote on their website at the time: “We’re celebrating all over the Battle Royale map with present supply drops, birthday cakes and a gift item you’ll be able to toss to your squad.
“The Battle Bus will have a music track and be thematically skinned just in time for the party. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to earn a Pickaxe, Wrap and more cosmetics over the course of the celebration.
“The Birthday Event is already live in Save the World! Complete Birthday Celebration Quests to earn Summer Tickets and unlock the new festive Hero: Birthday Brigade Jonesy.
“Don’t forget to grab Year 2 Birthday Llamas as they are filled with the “greatest hits” schematics from the past year of Fortnite.”
Players also got a free Year 1 Birthday Llama... On Epic! So we can expect to see something like this heading our way this weekend.
Of course, there were a load of OverTime challenges in the run-up to this, too.
iFireMonkey has noted that every player will receive a free cake emote no matter what!
Leaks
Those cheeky data miners have been at it again, and it looks like a new third birthday weapon wrap is being added.
