Fortnite 16.50 Update Patch Notes

Fortnite update 16.50 is finally here and the last update of the season!

Rumours have been circulating regarding the addition of Samus Aran, with an easter egg featuring the bounty hunter seen in Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #3.

Fans can also expect significant content related to the Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point comic series, as it has been said that the game and comic will bleed into each other for readers and players to enjoy.

Fortnite 16.50 Release Date

Fortnite 16.50 will release on May 25, 2021, at 4 a.m. EST.

Update Size

Update sizes will vary from console to console. While the size of 16.50 is currently unknown, it will most likely be similar to 16.40, with the following sizes:

• PS4 - 3GB
• PS5 - 2.2GB
• Xbox One - 2.5GB
• Xbox Series X - 2.5GB
• PC - 1.37GB
• Switch - 2.4GB
• Android - 1GB

• General
  • Player-built structures have reduced visuals in PC Performance Mode.
  • Just-added friends wrongly appearing offline.
  • Unable to equip cape Back Blings on Rebirth Raven's Rachel Roth Style.
• Battle Royale
  • Moving left in the inventory on controller skips the last weapon slot.
• Creative
  • "Recent Islands" list does not update.
  • The ocean is invisible in the minimap.
  • A game not starting if player is in Phone Booth.

The Foreshadowing Quests skin is encrypted but the silhouette was added:

Fortnite fans are still waiting for the leaked Foreshadowing Quests to appear in-game, and 16.50 may be the update where they show up, being so close to the end of the Season.
