Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #3 is out in all its Batman vs. Snake Eyes glory, but a tiny detail in a single panel of the comic has fans freaking out just a tiny bit.
In an epic, an extra-large panel featuring Batman mounted atop a Whiplash speeding towards Snake Eyes on top of Slurp Mudflap, there is a series of carvings on the wall, apart from all the action.
Such a tiny little addition has the Fandom buzzing with possibilities.
Is Samus Aran Coming to Fortnite After All?
In Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point #3 there is an easter egg that appears to show Ryu, Chun-li, and the star of Nintendo's Metroid series, Samus Aran.
The silhouette of Samus is unmistakable, with the rounded shoulders of the Varia Suit upgrade to her Power Suit clearly visible.
Of course, the artwork for this issue was finished during a time where Samus may still have been a possibility in Fortnite and is in no way confirmation that the intergalactic bounty hunter will arrive in-game any time soon, or at all.
Still, seeing a Samus reference inside of the comic is a glint of hope for Metroid Fans, especially knowing that Epic did have plans to try and include Samus at some point.

Fortnite continues to expand its licensed properties, adding more and more skins to draw in players from other fandoms.
It is only a matter of time before Epic cracks Nintendo's shell, and get some sort of Nintendo IP into Fortnite.
Hopefully that IP will be Metroid, and fans can enjoy the skins of Samus Aran in her Power Armor and Zero Suit.
A Metroid Back Bling would also be quite nice.
