Final Fantasy 16 Features An 'Expansive' Skill Tree, Confirms Game Producer
Advising it's their way of letting the players "grow" characters in a personal way, Yoshida stated:
"There's usually two ways to play a character. You can either put yourself into the shoes of a pre-defined protagonist or like in (Final Fantasy)14, you can become your own protagonist. But even in the case where you ‘play’ a pre-defined hero, it's better to have some sense of customization in the character’s progression as it gives wider options of play."
Other notable discussion topics included Final Fantasy 16's development. Confirming the game's main scenarios are done, they're now focused on the side content. Launching for PS5, a release window currently remains unknown. Make sure to follow us for more gaming news and updates.
