FIFA 21 UCL TOTKS: Team of the Knockout Stage Predictions

The UEFA Champions League is in full flow, which means the TOTKS should be released soon!

With the TOTS promotion likely to begin on April 23rd, could there be room for the TOTKS to come this Friday?

We've got the second legs of the quarter finals to be played yet, but for now, here is our early predictions as to who may feature.

GK - Edouard Mendy (83 OVR)

Thus far there is only side who have yet to concede a goal in the knockout stages, and that is Edouard Mendy's Chelsea.

The Senegalese stopper kept clean sheets in both legs of their last 16 win against Atletico Madrid, with Porto yet to get past him in their quarter final clash.

LB - Ferland Mendy (85 OVR)

Just what the world needs, another special Ferland Mendy card.

But unfortunately for Weekend League players, that looks likely for the Real Madrid man, who bagged the winner for Real Madrid against Atalanta in their last 16 first leg before helping them to a 3-1 victory over Liverpool in their QF first leg.

CB - Marquinhos (88 OVR)

Now PSG may not have had the best time defensively throughout the knockout stages -conceding four goals in three game so far - but they have won all three of their matches.

Captain Marquinhos has played a key role in their success, also picking up a goal in their 3-2 victory over Bayern Munich last week.

CB - Antonio Rudiger (83 OVR)

Another Chelsea man in the defensive unit could well be German centre half Antonio Rudiger.

The 28-year-old has been a mainstay in the Chelsea side throughout the knockout stage and would be full value for a first performance based special card of the year.

RB - Joao Cancelo (87 OVR)

Whether EA opt to give the Portuguese international another European special card remain to be seen, but his performances certainly warrant one.

Cancelo ran the show for City in their round of 16 clash with Borussia Monchengladbach and played the full 90 in their QF first leg victory against Dortmund.

CM - Toni Kroos (90 OVR)

Toni Kroos just loves the Champions League!

The German midfielder has rolled back the years in the knockout stages so far, with his standout performance coming in the 3-1 victory over Liverpool last time out.

LM - Marco Asensio (84 OVR)

Another Real Madrid man who should feature in the TOTKS is Spanish winger Marco Asensio.

The Spaniard grabbed a crucial goal in their round of 16 second leg victory against Atalanta whilst he also helped himself to a goal in their QF win last week.

Liverpool will need a big comeback if they are to advance to the semi-finals, but it's not through a lack of trying from Mo Salah.

The Egyptian has found the back of the net in each of his three KO stage apperances so far. The Kopites will be hoping for a couple more on Wednesday evening.

CAM - Kevin De Bruyne (94 OVR)

The Belgian has been in red-hot form for City in the knockout stages, with two goals and a MOTM appearance to his name so far.

Erling Haaland just keeps on breaking records.

The 20 year old recently became the youngest player to reach 15 UCL goals and, with four goals in the KO stages so far, he's a shoo-in for the TOTKS.

Speaking of shoo-ins, the final name in the side is PSG's Kylian Mbappe.

The Frenchman scored a hat-trick at the Camp Nou and a brace at the Allianz Arena. Need we say anymore?
