Mediatonic took us by surprise last August when they launched Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. Published by Devolver Digital, this platform battle royale game initially launched for PC and PS4 to huge success, and fans have been wondering when it'll launch for other platforms.

Previously scheduled to arrive on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S this Summer, Mediatonic's sadly just confirmed this has now been delayed, and a new release window hasn't been given.

Fall Guys On Xbox And Switch Release Date Gets Delayed, But Will Feature Cross-Play At Launch

Offering an update on these ports, they confirmed: "With so many new opportunities now in our hands, we've realised that our previously announced Summer 2021 Switch and Xbox release schedule is unfortunately just too soon for us to include all of the tasty new features we're working on."

Discussing this further, Mediatonic confirm they want to implement their planned new features before these new launches go ahead, and that includes cross platform multiplayer. Otherwise, it's business as normal for Fall Guys, and Mediatonic will continue "rolling out new Seasonal content releases, fresh Shows, Costumes, Rounds and all the other delicious things you know and love".
