Red Dead Online has been thriving each week since it released a couple of years ago.
Now, players all over the world tune in each week for the new weekly updates and content added to the game.
We just got to experience the brand new Halloween update this past week, and now we are looking ahead.
December is fastly approaching, and this also means a new seasonal update is coming.

Release Date
As of now, we do not know when Rockstar intends to release the Winter Update for Red Dead Online.
However, based on last year's update we can speculate when they will release it this year.
Red Dead Online's 2019 Winter Update released on December 20th, 2019.
So, this time around we can expect a release date around the same time!
Be on the lookout for official communications from Rockstar Games as the date draws closer.
Special Gift - Weapons and More
One of the headlining features from the 2019 Winter Update was the giving mood Rockstar was in.
During December 23-25 players could log into the game and receive one of the following items:
• The Krampus Double Barrel Shotgun Variant
- 30 rounds of Incendiary Buckshot Ammo
- 100 Shotgun Slugs
- 10 Thyme Big Game
- 10 Minty Plump Birds
- 20 Carrots
- 20 Assorted Biscuits
- 50 Candies
- 10 Fine Brandies
- 10 Special Miracle Tonics
- 20 Volatile Fire Bottles
- 2x Creek Plums
- 2x Agarita
We can probably expect the same sort of gift feature from Rockstar this time around as well.
Perhaps some new rewards are in store for us!
Discounts
Not only are Rockstar celebrating Christmas, but they are also rewarding players for celebrating the New Year.
Last year players received 1000 XP from the 31st to January 6th, so expect the same sort of bonuses this year.
As well, Rockstar is bound to release some store discounts for items you may be looking at!
