Today has been full of Game Awards announcements, such as the nominations!

Though one game that we won’t be seeing at the Game Awards this year is Halo Infinite.

This isn’t just because the Xbox Exclusive had its launch pushed back, but a trailer won’t even be shown either.

Sorry fans you’ll just have to wait a little longer!

Halo Infinite NOT at the Game Awards

Back when Halo Infinite’s release date got pushed back to 2021, many fans speculated that the Game Awards would be the perfect moment for new details to drop.

One of the biggest events in the gaming calendar, The Game Awards are where new game details are often dropped for the industry’s biggest names!

Be it trailer updates or announcements, fans have come to expect a lot from the ceremony.

I mean, last year the Xbox Series X got officially announced!

Over on Reddit, some Halo Infinite fans speculated that Microsoft (MS) would have to have something planned for the so-called ‘Gaming Oscars’.

Alas, it looks as if Microsoft isn’t going to be following up with a big trailer this year.

343 community director Brian Jarrad has been out managing expectations with his response to the post.

He replied, "Right now we're still going through the huge cascade of implications and ramifications to the release shift and the team is heads down working through nearly every facet of the game."

"Full disclosure we don't have anything planned for the VGAs, but are hoping to offer at least a high level update within the next few weeks so we can kind of restart this journey together after the holidays."
