As you can see, there's even a glowing element in the middle.

Weighing in at 6.8kgs, it's probably a bit overkill for cutting up your dinner, mind.

Here's what Alex had to say about the process:

“I’ve always been fascinated by steel weapons, like swords and axes, so when Bethesda reached out about making the ultimate fantasy sword, I had to take them up on it. The Elder Scrolls Online has loads of seriously awesome blades in it, so to have the chance to work with them to create something that’s brand new to the latest Gates of Oblivion chapter was a tonne of fun!”
“I’ve been forging things out of steel since I was 11-years-old. From the glowing red element to the intricate scallops of the guard, Nokvroz’s sword was definitely one of the most challenging sword designs I’ve ever had to tackle and I can’t wait to see it being wielded in-game.”
