If you’re looking for a game that’ll give you a chance to relax and not have to try too hard, Elden Ring probably isn’t the first title that comes to mind.

After all, its relentless array of difficult boss battles is much more effective at upping your heart rate by offering a frequently insurmountable challenge than calming you down and offering a comforting atmosphere.

That’s without even taking into account any mods you might have installed that dial up the struggle even further by adding features like survival mechanics or a battle arena. However, a new mod is designed to accommodate those who fancy a little more of a laid-back experience.

Want to Make Your Journey Through the Lands Between a Little Less Stressful?

The mod in question is called “Very Easy Mod Compilation” by modder TheOneSSP and aims to make the game a bit more of a walk in the park.

It does so by ensuring that your character has a very high amount of health points, focus points and stamina from the beginning of the game, ensuring that you hit peak performance right away.

On top of this, equipping the crimson amber medallion will ensure that your health and focus points regenerate, in addition to providing you with 100% resistance to all status effects, including poison and blight.

While you can remove the medallion if you feel that those particular effects are making you too overpowered, the mod also makes some other changes that you can’t turn off, including ensuring that you won’t lose any runes on death and making it so that spirits can be summoned multiple times.

On top of this, all weapons are rendered buffable. Sorcery and incantation-based weapon buffs will never run out, allowing you to slice away at maximum damage all the time.

Your shopping habits are also slightly altered, with Twin Maiden Husks now selling most of the game’s items and new spirit summons covering NPCs, enemies, and bosses available to buy from the crafting menu after you defeat Rennala in The Academy of Raya Lucaria dungeon.

If all of that still isn’t enough for you, another of TheOneSSP’s mods, called “God Mod Compilation” offers some similar effects, but makes your health points, focus points, and stamina unlimited.

To install either of these mods, simply copy and paste the file’s unzipped contents into your Elden Ring installation’s ‘game’ folder, or use a mod manager to make things even easier.

So, kick back, go on a leisurely stroll through the Lands Between, and make sure to follow us for more updates on the wacky worlds of Elden Ring, Skyrim, and Fallout modding.
