DOTA 2: The International 10 Regional Qualifiers Western Europe Day 2: Results, Scores, And More!

The second day of The International 10 regional qualifiers for Western Europe saw eight matches that displayed high-level DOTA 2 plays. But in the end, six teams have been eliminated from the competition.

Hellbear Smashers vs Ghost Frogs

Day 2 kicked off with Hellbear Smashers vs Ghost Frogs in the lower bracket round 2 which went on to be a three-game series with the former winning in the end.

Game 1 belonged to Ghost Frogs. But Hellbear Smashers bounced back and made a reverse sweep after winning games 2 and 3, securing the overall 2-1 series victory and a spot in the lower bracket round 3. Ghost Frogs is the first team to be eliminated from the tournament.

Chicken Fighters vs Vikin.gg

Another lower bracket round 2 match saw Chicken Fighters easily taking on Vikin.gg to win the series, 2-0. The former will advance in the lower bracket round 3 where they will face Hellbear Smashers, while Vikin.gg will have to say goodbye to the competition.

Into The Breach vs Brame

Into The Breach won game 1 in this lower bracket round 2 match against Brame. But the losing team in game 1 managed to win game 2. Yet their momentum did not continue in game 3, and Into The breach notched the overall 2-1 series win, setting their bout against the loser of Spider Pigzs vs Team Bald Reborn.

Spider Pigzs vs Team Bald Reborn

The final lower bracket round 2 match happened between Spider Pigzs and Team Bald Reborn. Game 1 favored the side of Spider Pigzs, while game 2 belonged to Team Bald Reborn. However, Spider Pigzs had the last laugh and managed to win game 3 and the series, 2-1, advancing them to the lower bracket round 3. Team Bald Reborn is now eliminated.

Tundra Esports vs Team Liquid

The first upper bracket round 2 match featured Tundra Esports vs Team Liquid, with the former scoring a 2-0 series sweep to become the first team to secure a spot in the upper bracket finals. Team Liquid must now work their way back from the lower bracket.

Chicken Fighters vs Hellbear Smashers

Chicken Fighters vs Heallbear Smashers opened the lower bracket round 3. Both teams showed their hearts out but in the end, it was Chicken Fighters who emerged victorious, winning a dominant 2-0 series performance and eventually eliminating Hellbear Smashers in the process.

OG vs Team Nigma

The much-anticipated match between two fan favorites OG and Team Nigma did not disappoint as it became a three-game series classic.

OG won game 1 but Team Nigma tied the series, 1-1 after they won game 2 and forced a deciding game 3. But after numerous exchanges of amazing DOTA 2 plays from both teams, OG prevailed in the end and scored the overall 2-1 series victory over Team Nigma. OG will now face Chicken Fighters in the upper bracket finals, while Team Nigma went down the lower bracket.

Spider Pigzs vs Into The Breach

The final match of day 2 saw Spider Pigzs vs Into The Breach which went down the wire to become another three-game series.

Spider Pigzs was strong in game 1 where they scored the first win. Into The Breach however pulled off a comeback and grabbed the victory in game 2, forcing a game three winner-take-all, where it was still Spider Pigzs who notched the overall 2-1 series victory in the end. Into The Breach has now been eliminated from the competition, while Spider Pigzs will face Team Nigma in the lower bracket round 4.

DOTA 2 The International 10 Regional Qualifiers Western Europe Day 1 Aftermath

The upper bracket finals will now be OG vs Tundra Esports.

In the lower bracket, it will be Team Liquid vs Chicken Fighters and Team Nigma vs Spider Pigzs.
