How To Swap Heroes In DOTA 2
The swapping of heroes with your teammates may take place either in the strategy time or during the game itself.
If you swap heroes in the strategy time given before a match in DOTA 2, you just have to right click the name of the player who picked the hero that you wanted to use in the first place. This is where all the 10 heroes for each player have already been picked.
As for the swapping during the game itself, you may do it during the moment where the in-game clock will show negative time.
You should also take note that you can’t swap heroes when you enter a single draft.
