Disco Elysium: Egg Head Puzzle Solution

Around day three or four of Disco Elysium, you’ll likely encounter a strange character named Egg Head, an excitable DJ who won’t seem to engage with any real conversation. This opens up the task “solve the Egg Head Puzzle”, and we’ve got it all laid below. Read on to discover the Egg Head Puzzle solution and what you need to do to crack this one.

Egg Head Puzzle Solution in Disco Elysium

The solution to the Egg Head puzzle is entirely dialogue-based, you just need to say the right things to get him to open up. It’s not immediately obvious what you have to say - and the answer is, don’t say anything. When you converse with him, select the following options in dialogue.

• “Say nothing.”
• “Still say nothing.”
• “Say nothing.“
• “Still say nothing.”
• “Say nothing.”
• “No, but seriously... I'm a little worried it isn't.”
• (Choose any dialogue after this until the conversation ends)

At this point, talk to Egg Head again. The dialogue will have changed, so this time, pick the following.

• “Say nothing.”
• “Still say nothing.”
• “Say nothing.“
• “Still say nothing.”
• “Say nothing.”
• “SO HARD CORE!”
• “IT IS!”
• “THE QUESTION IS, WHAT IS THE QUESTION?!”

Once this is done, Egg Head will drop the act to a certain extent and join the same reality as you, completing the task “Solve the Egg Head Puzzle.” There’s no tangible reward for this one beyond more dialogue opening up, but you have to complete this to complete the other task “Help Soona with her Project,” as you can then talk to him about setting up the cable she needs.
