That's exciting, because it means players can now earn Destiny 2 versions of some of the raid's best gear - including the Vex Mythoclast.
This powerful exotic may not be quite the game-breaking tool of destruction it was in the first game, but it's still worth getting your hands on it.
Here's how, and how to upgrade it with the weapon's brand-new catalyst.
Destiny 2 Vex Mythoclast Guide
What Is Vex Mythoclast?
A fusion rifle that handles more similarly to a scout rifle, the Vex Mythoclast has a pair of exotic perks:
- Timeless Mythoclast - Fire a single fusion rifle bolt per trigger pull.
- Temporal Unlimiter - Build up Overcharge by killing enemies, then swap firing modes to fire linear fusion rifle shots.
How To Get Vex Mythoclast
In theory, it's simple – players need to defeat Atheon and finish the raid.
That said, early reports suggest that the drop rate is low, meaning it may take you a few tries to earn it.
Thankfully, you won't need to attempt the raid on any specific difficulty, so just keep trying your luck.
How To Get Vex Mythoclast Catalyst
The Vex Mythoclast catalyst can be earned by taking the base weapon into the Vault of Glass raid.
Once you're in, you'll need to shoot five plates with the Vex Mythoclast. Once each plate is shot, you'll need to destroy the Oracles around them.

What does the Vex Mythoclast Catalyst do?
The catalyst will allow for 'higher stacks of Overcharge' to 'increase stability'. That means the more you kill, the better the weapon becomes.
