Destiny 2's Solstice of Heroes event is about to kick off, and fans will be clamouring to upgrade the event's armour set to earn the unique glow effects.
As with most years, you'll start with cracked, scratched, and beaten-up armour, and you'll need to complete a series of challenges to upgrade each piece.
The lovely folks at r/RaidSecrets have crunched through the data and found a full list of requirements to earn that shiny new armour. Incredibly, these were uploaded a month ago.

Solstice of Heroes Armour Upgrade Steps
Titan
Renewed Titan Armour Set
Solstice Helm (Renewed) - Complete runs through the European Aerial Zone, land precision final blows, and defeat Hive combatants.
Solstice Gauntlets (Renewed) - Defeat combatants in the European Aerial Zone, defeat combatants with Super abilities, and defeat combatants in the European Aerial Zone while using an Arc subclass.
Solstice Plate (Renewed) - Complete adventures, collect Solar orbs in strikes, and defeat opposing Guardians in the Crucible or Gambit.
Solstice Greaves (Renewed) - Complete public events on Nessus, collect Void orbs in the Crucible or Gambit, and unlock Solstice Packages.
Solstice Mark (Renewed) - Complete playlist strikes, collect Elemental Orbs of any type in any activity, and complete Crucible or Gambit matches.
Majestic Titan Armour Set
Solstice Helm (Majestic) - Complete Gambit matches, collect Elemental Orbs using a matching [Arc] / [Solar] / [Void] subclass, and, as a team, defeat opposing Guardians in the Crucible or Gambit using Arc weapons.
Solstice Gauntlets (Majestic) - Complete Heroic public events, defeat combatants with abilities, and defeat bosses.
Solstice Plate (Majestic) - Defeat combatants in strike playlists using a subclass that matches the [Arc] / [Solar] / [Void] Day, defeat combatants in the European Aerial Zone, and defeat Fallen using a subclass that matches the [Arc] / [Solar] / [Void] Day.
Solstice Greaves (Majestic) - Defeat combatants with Elemental damage, collect Void orbs in any strike, and defeat combatants with Solar melee attacks.
Solstice Mark (Majestic) - Complete patrols on Io, collect Elemental Orbs of any type in the European Aerial Zone, and defeat enemy combatants with Solar weapons.
Glow Requirements:
- Helmet: Complete a Nightfall Ordeal on the Master difficulty.
- Gauntlets: Complete a Nightmare Hunt.
- Chest: Complete Pit of Heresy.
- Boots: Win seven Trials of Osiris matches (doesn't have to be in one passage)
- Class Item: Complete a Tier 5 Altar of Sorrow three times.
Hunter
Renewed Hunter Armour Set
Solstice Helmet (Renewed) - Complete runs through the European Aerial Zone, land precision final blows, and defeat Fallen combatants.
Solstice Gauntlets (Renewed) - Complete Strikes, Collect Solar Orbs in Gambit, Unlock Solstice Packages.

Solstice Gauntlets (Majestic) - Complete heroic public events, collect Arc orbs in strikes, defeat Cabal using matching subclass element.
Solstice Chest (Majestic) - Complete Gambit matches, collect element orbs using subclass, defeat enemies with Void grenades.
Solstice Boots (Majestic) - Defeat enemies in strikes with matching subclass, defeat enemies using abilities, defeat Guardians with Void weapons.
