Beyond Light not only adds some new Lost Sectors, but refreshes the hidden areas with new Legend and Master difficulties.

The best part is that players willing to chance their arm at clearing these will be able to earn high-level rewards – including Exotics.

Here's how to unlock them and what they offer.

Unlocking Legend and Master Lost Sectors is nice and easy.

You'll need to find them and clear them. We've got guides to how to find them on Europa and in the Cosmodrome – happy hunting!

You'll also need to hit 1200 Power to be able to take on the Legend and Master variants.

Once you've unlocked them, you can find Legend and Master Lost Sectors on the map.

Simply find the banner and interact with it to begin.

Legend Lost Sectors will require 1250 Power, while Master Lost Sectors require 1280 Power – making both high-level activities.

Modifiers are visible before starting, with Champions, Burns and more included – as well as locked equipment.

Rewards for completion are listed before you attempt a Legend or Master Lost Sector.

Each also has a chance to drop one of the new Beyond Light exotic armour pieces.

You can also earn enhancement cores, even if playing in a Fireteam.
