Destiny 2 Beyond Light Braytech Exoscience Chest Location: Where To Find It, What It Does

STORY SPOILERS AHEAD

Beyond Light is finally here, and takes us to Europa in a search for Fallen leader Eramis.

Part of the fun of the expansion is being reunited with older characters from the franchise's past, and one reunion stands out above all others – Variks.

The once custodian of the Prison of Elders is living on Europa now, and he'll send players to open a chest in the "Braytech Exoscience" area.

Here's where to find it.

Destiny 2 Beyond Light Braytech Exoscience Chest Location

It's worth noting that you'll need to have unlocked your Stasis abilities to be able to open the chest.

Starting out at Variks' abode, head to Cadmus Ridge.

There, you'll see the Braytech Exoscience complex, and can progress inside until you find a lobby of sorts with a strange artefact hovering.

There are two locations we've spotted the chest so far:

• In the room above the lobby (go up the stairs)
• In a side room just before a corridor that leads to an icy area

Once you open the chest, you'll get a piece of "Aged Armor" with the accompanying quest prompting you to return to Variks.

He'll then send you on more quests to unlock more pieces of the Aged Armor.
