If you need some new earphones and want to know when the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 may release, here's the latest.
Also known by their alleged codename 'berry', excitement around the Galaxy Buds 2 is building, as is the excitement surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S22 release.
So, here's what to expect about the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2's release.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Release Date
While Samsung has yet to confirm the existence of its Galaxy Buds, reports suggest they may launch pretty soon.
As reported by Galaxy Club, the Buds 2 may release around the same time as the Galaxy Z Fold 3. This stems from the fact that leaked colours of these products match up, suggesting a simultaneous launch.
Following an accidental post on the Russian website (via Pocket-Lint), Samsung has now confirmed that a new Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on August 11. Here, this event may mark the release - or at least the announcement - of the Galaxy Buds 2.
Samsung has now released a trailer for the upcoming event, and while the Galaxy Z Fold 3 was teased, there was no sign of the Galaxy Buds 2 - although this shouldn't suggest they won't be revealed.
The event will start at 3 PM BST/10 AM ET/ 7 AM PST.
In terms of competition, if the earbuds are release then, this date would put the Galaxy Buds 2 as launching slightly before the expected AirPods 3 release, and just behind the recent OnePlus Buds Pro release.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Price
As spotted in leaks by Winfuture, the Galaxy Buds 2 may cost €149.99 when it launches.
This translates roughly to around $179.99/£129.99, although the pricing in different regions may vary, especially as the European version includes VAT.
The original Galaxy Buds released for €149.99/£139.99/$149.99 in March 2019.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Latest News
With a prospective launch less than a month away, further details about the rumoured Galaxy Buds 2 are surfacing.
One of the latest rumours from Ice Universe suggests the Galaxy Buds 2 will include active noise cancellation - or ANC. This feature is currently available in the Live and Pro versions of Galaxy Buds, but not the base model.
Aside from this, alleged renders of the upcoming line suggest the Galaxy Buds 2 will launch in four different colours. These are: black, white, purple, and green.
However, as with all rumours, we cannot know for sure until Samsung officially releases details about the Buds 2. We'll let you know when anything official does come to fruition.
