SEPT 7 UPDATE - The RPD Map has been disabled again, as per the devs: "Looks like these breakouts are more serious than we thought. The RPD map is being temporarily disabled while we set up stricter lockdown measures."
SEPT 3 UPDATE - We're updating this story as it's stated getting traffic once again due to another issue with Dead By Daylight's Racoon City Police Station Map. As noted by the developers on September 3: "Due to a recent series of breakouts, the RPD map is temporarily disabled while we up the security"

In short it seems like some players were able to escape the map by glitching outside of the map (as you can see below). We'll let you know when it's been fixed and reinstated by Behaviour Interactive.

[Original Story] - Dead By Daylight's big Resident Evil crossover event has finally arrived, and it's fair to say that it's not quite gone as planned.

In fact, as of the time of writing, the new Raccoon City Police Station map is still disabled - meaning that while you can fight the Nemesis as Jill or Leon, you won't be able to do it in Capcom's iconic location.

When Is Dead By Daylight's Raccoon City Police Station Map Returning?

On June 15th, the official Dead By Daylight Twitter account tweeted the following message.

As the tweet says, players had been experiencing crashes when loading into the new map, which is somewhat worrying.

If you open the game right now, here's what you'll see.

It's not all bad news, though, as Behaviour did follow up with the following message:

We know you're excited to explore the Raccoon City Police Station, so here's something else to be excited about while we get this fixed up: Login any time within the next week for 300,000 Bloodpoints.

The Bloodpoints will appear when logging into the game between June 15 and June 22. We're expecting that the map should be operational by then, but we'll update this page as soon as we hear more.
