But the question is, will Cyberpunk 2077 be releasing on the Playstation 5?

Can you play Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5
The short answer is yes!
Thanks to the console’s backwards compatibility with PS4, you’ll be able to play the Playstation 4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 on Playstation 5.

Though for now, it won’t be quite as amazing as the PS5 version of the game.
You’ll have to wait ‘til 2021 for that!
Until then, you will be able to enjoy a slightly enhanced version, with 4K graphics, but still missing a few bells and whistles, unfortunately.
Not the best news in the world, especially after the other delays already, but given how long Cyberpunk is likely to be, this isn’t the worst.
The decision to push the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of Cyberpunk 2077 was likely made to keep the release in 2020, and not delay one more time!
