Cyberpunk 2077's Been Missing From The PlayStation Store For Over 4 Months

Even with high sales, Cyberpunk 2077's launch was undeniably poor. Featuring severe performance issues on PS4 and Xbox One, Sony took the unprecedented move of delisting it from the PlayStation Store back in December, and a refund system was implemented.

Despite subsequent updates offering noticeable improvements, Cyberpunk 2077's still not returned. Physical copies can be obtained, and existing owners are still receiving these new updates, but many have been left wondering when it'll finally return.

Cyberpunk 2077's Been Missing From The PlayStation Store For Over 4 Months

So, where is it? Currently, we don't know. Back in March during an investor call, CD Projekt Red's SVP of business development Michał Nowakowski stated "We have published several patches. We have just published a really big one yesterday and we have published several hotfixes. Each and every one of them brings us closer to going back to the PSN store."

That update would be Version 1.2, which addressed some notable issues, but Nowakowski admitted this decision is in Sony's hands. On the official website, there's a quality FAQ updated two weeks ago, but when addressing a return to the PS Store, it states: "We are working on fixes and updates, and are working with Sony to bring Cyberpunk 2077 back to PlayStation Store as soon as possible."

Evidently, previous updates haven't been enough for Sony's liking so far, but with Version 1.3 being worked on, maybe that will finally persuade them.
