Crysis Remastered Patch Brings PS5, Xbox Series X/S Enhancements


Crysis Remastered, which launched last year (but feels like it could've been two years ago), is getting a next-gen update.

The download will unlock 60fps on all platforms, including the Xbox Series S, and will also introduce the "Classic Nanosuit menu".

Here's the next-gen roundup:

PlayStation 5

  • Performance mode – 1080p - 60 fps
  • Quality mode - 1800p - 60 fps
  • RayTracing - 1440p - 60 fps

Xbox Series X

  • Performance mode - 1080p - 60 fps
  • Quality mode – 2160p - 60 fps
  • RayTracing - 1440p - 60 fps

Xbox Series S

  • Performance mode – 1080p - 60 fps
  • Quality mode - 2160p - 30 fps
  • RayTracing - 1080p - 30 fps

As you can see, the Series X actually has a slight advantage in terms of offering a 2160p resolution on Quality mode.

The update will also fix some bugs, as well as introduce the Ascension Level which was part of the game's PC release but didn't make it to the console ports or the remaster.
